At Spalding, we have around 540 colleagues producing coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads, and couscous/grains for major UK retailers including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Nando’s, and Pizza Hut. Our site features a restaurant with hot food available to colleagues.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will manage daily maintenance tasks and site repairs to support operations in achieving maximum productivity.

Shift: 3 on 3 off (0600 - 1800)

• Perform fault finding, planned, and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximize reliability and performance.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues through fault finding and problem solving.
• Maintain communication with the operations team regarding engineering activities and schedules.
• Respond promptly to internal customer needs to maximize uptime.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and controls.
• Record stock removals from engineering stores for accurate stock control.
• Complete documentation accurately for audit readiness.
• Suggest improvements for health, safety, and operational efficiency.
