Job Description
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in providing engineering and maintenance services to the hub facility, contributing to the maintenance of the MHE system.
On a daily basis, this role involves following the procedures necessary to assist in all aspects of maintenance relating to an automated sort system, including but not limited to powered conveyor systems, telescopic conveyors, scanning, proximity and x-ray technology, chutes, and caster/roller decks.
The post holder is responsible for actively contributing to system functionality at all times to achieve or exceed the Service Level Agreement (SLA) in an organized, efficient, timely, and safe manner.
Success Criteria
The Maintenance Engineer reports daily to the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor and directly to the Site Engineering Manager. The purpose of this role is to maintain the automated sort system and carry out maintenance, repairs, and system recovery activities while working under their own initiative and as directed by the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor and Site Engineering Manager.
