A leading bakery company in Sileby is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure effective operations and adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves managing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and supporting food safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have a level 3 engineering qualification and experience in FMCG. Maintenance Engineer
Shift: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (with flexibility / occasional night shift cover with fair notice).
Location: Geary's Bakeries Ltd | Barrow Upon Soar | LE12 8LD
As a Maintenance Engineer in our bakery, you will play a key role in delivering planned maintenance (PPMs), taking full ownership of GMP standards across the department, and acting as the bridge between engineering and operations for asset care. Your responsibilities combine elements of mechanical, electrical, and sometimes automation engineering, all within the strict regulatory standards of the food industry (e.g. HACCP, GMP, FDA, etc.)
