Overview

I have a great opportunity for a mechanically bias maintenance engineer to join a leading company in Shopshire. My client is implementing growth in their manufacturing capabilities and need extra hands in their engineering department.

My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team on a continental shift pattern. The right person will be a multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias, this role offers stability and progression routes.

Maintenance Engineer Role Benefits

Maintenance Engineer Duties
  • Continental shift rota. (2 days / 2 nights)
  • Improve and promote safety across site.
  • Carry out planned and preventive maintenance.
  • Fault find on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Respond to breakdowns.
  • Report on machinery faults.
  • Update CMMS.
  • Contact OEM's and suppliers.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements
  • Apprentice trained. (Mechanical or Electrical).
  • Recognised engineering qualification.
  • Strong fault-finding capabilities.
  • CMMS experience.
  • Health & Safety / Food Safety.
  • Be knowledgeable in using quality assurance systems and standards.
  • PLC knowledge (advantageous)
