• Job Title: Maintenance Engineer / Site Fitter Apprentice
• Salary: £28,000.00
• Reports to: Engineering Supervisor / Team Leader

Role Overview as a Maintenance Engineer

This apprenticeship will provide practical experience in general site maintenance while developing expertise in installation, maintenance, repair, and record-keeping of manufacturing plant and equipment. Full training will be provided to ensure you reach the required industry standards.

Key Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer

• Assist the Engineering Supervisor and team with site maintenance, including tank systems, fluid flow meters, pumps, valves, and pipework installations and repairs.
• Support Site Engineers in maintaining specialized hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Assist with onsite inspections, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with industry requirements.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations while working on-site.
• Support projects assigned by the Engineering Supervisor, aligned with apprenticeship training requirements.
• Participate in routine daily operations, maintaining high site safety standards.
• Assist with shipping discharge duties, including ensuring pipelines are connected correctly, performing pressure tests, monitoring operations, and recording findings.
