A leading environmental services company is seeking a Mobile Plant Maintenance Engineer based in Runcorn. The role involves implementing a maintenance scheme for mobile plants and performing routine maintenance on heavy machinery. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ in Mobile Plant Maintenance and experience as a mobile plant mechanic or fitter. Overview

Salary: Competitive plus use of a company van and Veolia benefits

Grade: 4.3

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Location: Runcorn with travel to other sites in the Midlands (Overnight stays may be required on occasion)

What you’ll be doing
  • Implement a planned maintenance scheme for all mobile/fixed plants
  • Monitor and report on all defect reports and adhere to required timescales
  • Fabrication, welding and hardfacing
  • Conserve resources to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction
  • Routine maintenance of heavy plant vehicles and machinery
What we’re looking for
  • NVQ or relevant qualification in Mobile Plant Maintenance
  • Mobile plant mechanic or mobile plant fitter experience
  • Previous welding experience
  • Experience in a similar environment/role
