Job Description

A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics/automation company as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer's automated distribution centre close to Rugby (East side).

Looking for multi-skilled Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineers, ideally with an understanding of PLCs.

  • Salary of c£46,500 + Healthcare + Pension
  • 4 on 4 off Days and Nights (blocks of 4 of each)

Day-to-day activities of a Maintenance Engineer include:

  • Reactive maintenance
  • Planned maintenance
  • Electro-mechanical engineering
  • Controls fault finding
  • Problem analysis and continuous improvement

Requirements of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
  • Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems
  • Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
  • Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
