A leading company in the FMCG sector is seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers in Leamington Spa. You'll handle both reactive and planned maintenance of automated machinery in shift-based or days-only roles, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have strong electrical and mechanical skills and a minimum of two years' experience in a similar environment.

Shift-based roles (4 on, 4 off – days & nights, 7am–7pm): £47,092
Day shift roles (Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm): £40,365
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers to join a busy and well-established FMCG site. You'll be working as part of a close-knit team maintaining a wide range of automated machinery and utilities. There are opportunities for both shift-based and days-only roles.
Shift Options:2x Shift-based roles (4 on / 4 off) – rotating 2 days / 2 nights, 7am–7pm – £47,092
1x (possibly 2x) Day shift roles – Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm – £40,365
Carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of factory equipment
Electrical fault-finding and repair on machinery and control systems
Supporting mechanical maintenance including belts, gearboxes, pumps, etc.
Working with trummels, conveyor belts, sortation systems, washing facilities, and wastewater treatment plant
Working with pneumatics and PLC-controlled systems
Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings
Collaborating with the Engineering and Production teams to minimise downtime
Ideally electrically biased (60/40 or 50/50 electrical to mechanical) – open to strong mechanical candidates with good electrical competency
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a UK-based FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong fault-finding skills and familiarity with PLCs (input/output level)
Comfortable working on both mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and within a team
Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available
