Job summary
Stirling Warrington is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Rotherham. The role is hands-on, covering electrical systems, machinery and production equipment with responsibilities for breakdowns, fault finding and preventative maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum.
The role involves electrical fault finding and repairs, planned maintenance, working with 3-phase motors and VSDs, PLC fault finding, and close collaboration with production
Qualifications
- Electrical engineering qualification or relevant experience.
- At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with PLC control systems.
- Experience with motors and drives.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and proactive approach.
- Mechanical maintenance experience would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Electrical fault finding and repairs.
