An opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machinist / Turner to join a leading manufacturing organisation known worldwide. Location & Shift

Commutable from Blackburn, Burnley, Preston.

Shift: Permanent Nights, Monday to Thursday, 22:00 to 07:30.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out machining of components
2. Set up tools and load materials onto CNC machines
3. Handle weights up to 25kg manually
4. Complete quality documentation
5. Use inspection equipment to ensure components meet drawings
6. Contribute to continuous improvements
7. Read engineering drawings

Experience & Skills

• Proficient with CNC controls such as Okuma, FANUC, Mazak
• Experience with loading lathes, driven tool lathes, horizontal and vertical machines
• Proven experience in a CNC turning role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to setup, operate, and adjust CNC machines
• Time-served with formal qualification
