Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £49,000 – £51,000

Shift: Monday to Thursday Days (1 in 3 Nights)

Location: Peterborough, Wisbech, Corby, Bourne

Job Description:

Madisons Engineering are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical engineering experience and qualifications; electrical knowledge is a bonus. The successful engineer will have the opportunity to work for a leading manufacturing company based near Peterborough. The Maintenance Engineer will be involved in planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery. The company is investing heavily into their fast-moving site and, with this investment, they also offer extra courses and qualifications to enhance their engineers. Exceptional training on all mechanical machinery is provided. This is a permanent position which will offer career progression in the future. The company is focused on extra courses and qualifications for their engineers.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

• Maintenance Engineer must have a mechanical OR electrical qualification.
• Maintenance Engineer to have experience with PPMs and Reactive Maintenance.
• Maintenance Engineer to ideally have manufacturing experience.
• Open to all engineering backgrounds; industrial, FMCG, food manufacturing, military, and power stations.
• Mechanical – Belts, Bearings, Chains, Gearboxes, etc.
