Your Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping the production line running smoothly. You’ll carry out installations, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs on machines, tools, and equipment, ensuring operational standards are consistently met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and install production machinery and tools.
  • Diagnose and respond to equipment faults and breakdowns.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure machinery operates to required standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed.
  • Liaise with engineering and production teams to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure electrical equipment is compliant and safe to use.
  • Promote and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and project planning.

What You’ll Need

  • C&G Level 2 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent –Essential
  • Strong electrical engineering bias with solid mechanical knowledge
  • Proven experience in production engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing
  • Good understanding of modern maintenance techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve mechanical and electrical issues
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Competent IT and data analysis abilities
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards

This role is working a rotation shift pattern of Monday – Friday: 06:00am – 2:30pm / 2:30pm – 11:00pm (Rolling Shift) 40 hrs per week
