Job Description:

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a 3-day, 12-hour shift role in Newcastle? We have an excellent opportunity with our client, a heavy engineering and FMCG manufacturer.

This role focuses on preventive maintenance and asset care, including fault finding, testing, and continuous improvement of machinery and equipment to optimize line production. You will be responsible for electrical and/or mechanical repairs on site, working within a small team. The shifts involve 12-hour day shifts over the weekend and 12-hour shifts during the week of your choice. Candidates should be skilled in electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably with apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
