Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Newton Abbot, Devon – £43,000 + 25 days + BH + Bonus + Gym Discount + Sick Pay + Benefits

Are you a Multi Skilled Engineer looking for a new role? Do you have experience within an FMCG or Food setting working on a large range of equipment?

Role

• Provide electrical and mechanical support to keep all production equipment and site services running smoothly
• Carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and project work as required
• Work on conveyors, mixers, mincers, forming and coating machines, freezers, multi-head weighers, and vertical form-fill-seal machinery
• Complete planned maintenance tasks to maintain safety and reliability of the plant
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to source parts, resolve issues, and support ongoing projects

Candidate

• Multi-Skilled Engineer but with an Electrical bias.
• Food manufacturing experience is desirable.
• 17th edition qualified as a minimum.
• Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety, HACCP and GMP across a manufacturing site.
• Experience completing electrical and mechanical maintenance work on a number of different machinery.
• TIG welding would be ideal.
