Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Newcastle or nearby areas. You will fault find, repair and refurbish plant, carry out preventative maintenance and support plant upgrades, working on a three-shift rotation (days, evenings and nights) to maximise machinery efficiency.

The role offers £52,000-£55,000 plus training, long-term progression and excellent company benefits.

Maintenance Engineer

Ideally Located: Newcastle, Birtley, Sunderland, Washington, Chester-le-Street, Beamish, Stanley, Gateshead, Hebburn, Houghton le Spring, etc

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment, looking to join a well-established company in a varied role covering maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement?

This is a great opportunity to join an established business where you will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing plant and machinery, while working closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure machinery efficiency.

The company are a well-established manufacturer with a busy maintenance function. Due to continued requirements within the department, they are looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Engineer to support the existing team.

You will be responsible for fault finding on machinery, carrying out effective repairs and refurbishment, completing scheduled preventative maintenance, and installing and maintaining new and existing plant.

This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing or industrial background looking for a stable position with long term progression routes.
