Formal apprenticeship and significant engineering experience required.

Maintain and troubleshoot machine tooling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Utilize test equipment and understand electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Machine Tools

Role: Machine Tooling Maintenance Engineer

Location: Newcastle

Duration: 6 months initial

Rate: Equivalent to £40,000 Salary

Rullion are recruiting for 2 x Machine Tooling Maintenance Engineers; 1 x Mechanical Bias and 1 x Electrical Bias to join one of our leading clients in the manufacturing of Gas services equipment.

Mechanical Bias

Experience of machine tools: Heller, Starrag, MFD, XYZ etc.
Formal apprenticeship/5+ years engineering experience
Working in a machine tool environment preferred
Mechatronics/cross discipline trained
Competent with computing, spreadsheets, word documents etc.
Experience with machine tool geometric alignments/adjustments
Basic understanding of induction motors
Knowledge of the operation of relays/contactors/electro-mechanical valves/pumps, etc.
Experience with the use of test equipment
Understands basic electrical drawings
Understands basic hydraulic drawings
Understands advanced hydraulic drawings
Understands basic pneumatic drawings
Understands advanced pneumatic drawings
Experience with Siemens 840D/Dsl.
Familiarity with Siemens 840D/Dsl basic diagnostics, alarm messages, I/O etc.

Electrical Bias
