Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG environment?

Are you passionate about Engineering and developing your career?

Are you genuinely multi-skilled with proven Engineering experience?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Business on the search for a Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent role based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for planned maintenance, breakdowns, and line change-overs.
2. Participation in the delivery of the Engineering department vision and strategic plan.
3. Maintain production OEE to hit site KPI targets.
4. Identify and action opportunities for improvements within the engineering environment.
5. Adherence to and support of factory-wide systems for compliance with company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment.
6. Work in partnership with relevant parties to aid in the planning and support of all capital engineering projects.
7. Pro-active team player who can build effective credibility quickly within peer groups.

What are we looking for?

1. FMCG experience preferred – food or packaging desirable.
2. Minimum of ONC in Engineering or equivalent experience.
3. Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems preferred.
