Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer

1. Proactive maintenance and site preventive maintenance (PMs)
2. Reactive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns
3. Handling electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance tasks
4. Participating in engineering projects such as commissioning, installations, and relocations
5. Identifying and implementing process and machine output improvements
6. Adhering to site health and safety regulations and legislation

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

1. Time-served or recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering field
2. Experience in a multi-skilled role covering mechanical and electrical engineering
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, preferably within manufacturing
