Job summary

Breedon Group Welsh Slate is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for Cwt y Bugail Quarry in North Wales. You will join a hands-on maintenance team, support preventative maintenance, perform reactive maintenance to keep production running, and assist on maintenance projects alongside the Maintenance Manager.

We value welding and fabrication experience and a valid UK driving license. The role offers day shifts with occasional Saturday overtime and a competitive package within a UK-wide business.

The Role

We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our friendly maintenance team at Cwt y Bugail Quarry. In this hands-on role, you'll:

• Work across site supporting preventative maintenance activities
• Carry out reactive maintenance to keep production running smoothly
• Support maintenance projects alongside the Maintenance Manager
• Build strong working relationships with site teams
• Get involved in welding and fabrication work (experience here is a big plus!)

You’ll thrive in this role if you've got a good sense of humour, don't mind getting your hands dirty, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in a job well done. Working pattern: Day shifts with occasional Saturday overtime
