The Job:

We are seeking a regionally-based Venue Maintenance Engineer to join our Venue Operations Team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing our venue's fabric and systems, especially Heating, Ventilation, and AC systems (HVAC).

The successful candidate will oversee facilities across multiple regional locations (Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds) and must be willing to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs across multiple sites, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building fabric.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues, providing effective solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and longevity of equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational disruption.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Document maintenance activities accurately, including work orders and site inspections.
• Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and management regarding progress and issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Travel regularly between Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds, with flexibility for UK-wide travel.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in general maintenance with a strong understanding of HVAC systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, safety-compliant work.
• Effective time management, prioritization, and ability to work independently.
• Basic IT skills for documenting maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Competence in plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between locations.
• Formal qualifications in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical engineering (preferred).
• Experience in multi-site maintenance roles.
