We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business in the Leicester area. We have 2 existing sites already and are now recruiting for their brand-new manufacturing facility in the Northwest Leicester region.

As a company, we are a household name in the area, founded over 100 years ago, with an annual turnover in excess of £60m in a secure industry. We employ over 500 staff at one of our Leicester sites alone. This role has become available due to expansion into a new facility.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, mixers, sensors, and relays. You will be expected to follow the preventative maintenance plan and carry out general inspections. The role involves a mix of PPM and reactive maintenance.

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be:

• A multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias, ideally 50:50/60:40, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience in an FMCG environment is beneficial.
• Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in some form of maintenance discipline is advantageous.
