SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance
Engineer to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be responsible for the
general upkeep and repair of the hotel's facilities, including plumbing,
electrical systems, HVAC, and basic carpentry. You will ensure all equipment
and systems are functioning efficiently to maintain a safe, comfortable, and
well-presented environment for guests and staff.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MAINTENANCE ENGINEER AT OUR HOTEL
- Perform routine and
preventative maintenance tasks across guest rooms, public areas, and staff
facilities. - Respond promptly,
professionally, and efficiently to all maintenance service requests and
emergencies. - Execute the preventative
maintenance schedule, ensuring all equipment and systems meet required
operational standards. - Maintain all tools,
equipment, and workspaces in clean, organized, and functional condition. - Support and assist in
implementing the hotel’s energy conservation initiatives. - Recommend improvements
to maintenance systems and suggest energy-saving solutions. - Maintain the physical
functionality and safety of the facility, including mechanical,
electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems. - Complete a wide variety
of repairs, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and
masonry tasks. - Conduct regular
inspections and identify areas requiring preventative or corrective
maintenance. - Maintain detailed
records of work completed and report any equipment or system needing
further attention. - Keep up to date with
technical knowledge and training related to building systems and hotel
equipment.
Provide
exceptional service when responding to guest or team member maintenance
requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Proven experience in a
maintenance or engineering role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality
setting. - Strong technical
knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. - A proactive mindset with
exceptional problem-solving capabilities. - Effective leadership and
teamwork skills with a passion for developing others. - Financial literacy, with
experience managing maintenance budgets and vendor contracts. - Excellent organizational
and multitasking abilities, with a calm and focused approach under
pressure. - Flexibility to work
evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as required. - A commitment to guest
satisfaction and a genuine desire to create a well-maintained, welcoming
environment.
