Job description

Role: Maintenance Engineer - either bias welcome - electrical or mechanical

Salary: £43,000 to £46,000 per annum plus benefits and further training and progression opportunities

Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotation of days & nights

Location: Commutable from Anstey, Glenfield, Leicester, Groby and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a large industrial company at one of their leading and flagship automated factories. Recently a large and multi-million pound investment has been spent and new machinery commissioned into the factory.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Engineers (Maintenance Technicians) support the production machinery including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, new installations and refurbishments. This would suit Maintenance Engineers who like to variation, to work across a range of machinery and equipment, who arent afraid to apply themselves and learn.

Requirements

Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualifications

Background and experience in maintenance or service work in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment.

Have ANY of the following experience; conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings etc. any of these will be considered

Friendly and adaptable working attitude

Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
