Job description

Due to a forthcoming retirement, my client, a highly successful privately owned manufacturing business, is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team in North Ayrshire, postcode KA14. They are looking for an electrically biased engineer to provide a range of maintenance duties within their plant.

Candidates should be time-served engineer and be qualified to a minimum HNC standard, can demonstrate a good knowledge of 415V electrical skills, plus mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair skills. Welding/fabrication skills would be desirable.

The role will include maintenance, service and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, including electrical control panels, 3 phase electrics, control circuits, wax presses, shell room and furnace equipment.

The company is offering an excellent base package and early finish on a Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious maintenance professional.
