Maintenance Engineer

Shifts - Afternoons only, 15:30-midnight Mon-Thu, 12:00-20:30 Fri

Salary: Competitive

Location: rural Kidderminster area, must have own transport

My client are a well-established manufacturer based in rural area of Kidderminster and they are seeking a new Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team. This role is Multiskilled, however Mechanical bias would be preferred. The ability to weld to a level is also required.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Breakdown and reactive maintenance across site
  • Ensuring all PPM schedules are maintained
  • Implementing factory improvements
  • Fault finding and repairing plant machinery
  • Ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • Minimum of apprenticeship trained, time served engineer
  • Competent with electrical installation and repair
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Strong problem solving skills
