Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Ilkeston is seeking a Maintenance Engineer who will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant machinery. The role involves planned preventative maintenance, breakdown cover, and installation work in a fast-paced environment. NVQ level 3 training is required along with experience in a manufacturing setting. This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with a generous benefits scheme.

Job description

We're recruiting on behalf of our client, based in the Ilkeston area. This business are a leading manufacturing and processing business that have multiple UK sites. This role is based at a site that is fast paced and varied. If you're looking to join a business that invests and progresses their people then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The Person:

• NVQ level 3 Trained (Apprenticeship).
• Have worked as a: Maintenance Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Multiskilled Electrician or Maintenance Electrician before.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or processing environment.

The Role:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of all plant machinery.
• Installation / project work.
• Breakdown cover / Reactive Maintenance.
• Input data to CMMS system / Fill out job sheets for the planner.
• Adhere to site health and safety.
• Liaise with production to ensure machinery faults are correctly reported.
• Take part in site shut down activities.
