Job description

Are you a passionate and proactive Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical & mechanical skills.
We're looking for a driven engineer to join our high-performing maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery.
Rapid response to breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring production continuity.
Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repair on machinery and control systems.
Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and reliability.
Accurate recording of maintenance activities using the CMMS.
Work closely with production teams and other departments to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Machinery You'll Be Working On:
Flow wrappers
Conveyors & automated handling systems
Multi-head weighers
Metal detectors & checkweighers
Packaging machinery (shrink wrappers, labellers, cartoners)

What We're Looking For:
Time-served engineer with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
Strong electrical skills with mechanical knowledge.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
