Lineage Logistics the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics. We are a global company with more than 22,000 employees across the world.

We store, prepare and move food-based products for a variety of customers from major retailers to schools, hospitals and restaurants.

We are seeking two Maintenance Engineers to help provide reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment at our Heywood site.

We are looking for four engineers and there is one shift pattern available.

Working 40.25 hours per week with a 30 minute lunch on a continental shift pattern 2 days followed by 2 nights on a 4 on 4 off rotation working 07:00 to 19:00 & 19:00 to 07:00.

In this role you will:

Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability

Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving

Approximately 20% of the time you will be working in a cold environment – approximately minus 18 degrees – just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE including coats, hats and boots

At times work at height using safety harness

Who we're looking for:

Electrically qualified NVQ level 3 or equivalent with mechanical experience

Experience of working with automation and PLCs

Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a team

Willingness to learn and improve your skills

You are able to drive and travel to site

Ability to work at height and in a cold environment

Ability to work days
