Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery in Stoke-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in maintenance engineering, basic electrical knowledge, and a Level 3 engineering qualification. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £48,700 per annum and various benefits including training allowances and 22 days holiday.

Overview

Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £48,700 per annum including the shift allowance
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 3 shift pattern - overtime available on weekends and during the week
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Benefits: £2,000 annual allowance to be used towards training or new qualifications, ongoing training on site, 9% pension, 22 days holiday (rising 1 day per year of service) + soft benefits

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery including working with motors, rollers, belts, sensors, drives, and more.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
