Overview

Multiskilled Engineer on a Continental shift role (6-6). The company is a leading provider of property maintenance services in the UK, delivering Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across tens of thousands of locations. They offer Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air Conditioning and Combustion maintenance and installations to commercial and retail environments, with services based on self-delivery by in-house qualified technicians and engineers.

Due to growth, we are recruiting for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a static commercial site in Heywood Heath. You will work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm on a temporary basis. When permanent, you will transition to a shift pattern working 6am–6pm for a 41k salary.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical installation and maintenance on commercial, industrial and domestic systems.
  • Operate on a static commercial site and respond to maintenance tasks as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, both written and verbally; client facing.
  • Work with other forms of work such as small installations when required.
  • Work independently with initiative, without supervision.
  • Adapt to quickly changing environments and client requirements.
  • Work under pressure and manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain excellent organisational skills, time management, and prioritisation.
  • Adhere to relevant health and safety requirements.
Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ or C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working in commercial maintenance.
  • Mechanical experience.
