Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Halesworth, Suffolk
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Circa 40,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Early/Lates)

About the Role:
We are an established manufacturer with 30 years' experience, seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team during an exciting expansion phase. Working with advanced production equipment in our modern facility, you'll play a key role in maintaining our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned maintenance on production equipment
  2. Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
  3. Support continuous improvement projects
  4. Maintain strict operational standards
  5. Keep accurate maintenance records

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or recognised apprenticeship
  2. 3+ years' experience in FMCG or similar manufacturing environment
  3. Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
  4. Understanding of fast-paced production environments
  5. Proactive approach to problem-solving
