Job summary

DAMICOR LIMITED in Mitcham, Southwest London, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to service and repair production machinery across the site. The role suits candidates with both electrical and mechanical skills and a flexible shift pattern.

You will perform maintenance tasks, fault finding, and optimization of drives, motors, and control panels, with training and progression opportunities on offer. The position involves 12-hour shifts and on-site work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repair of production machinery.
• Electrical engineering skills including 3-phase systems, motors, inverters, and control panels.
• Testing and fault-finding expertise.
• Mechanical topics: hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, chains and valves.
• Industrial backgrounds such as Marine, Army or manufacturing may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
• Support shift operations and ensure equipment reliability.

A fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer has arisen to work for an international organization based in the Mitcham area.

Location, commutable from Mitcham, Southwest London

Skills required for the job of Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance and repairs on production machinery

Electrical engineering, single, 3 phase, motors, inverters & control panels.

Testing and fault finding

Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, chains, and valves.

A range of industrial engineering backgrounds will be considered including Marine, Army and manufacturing etc.

Happy to work shifts of 4o4o, 12 hours
