Overview

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Hours: Rotating shift pattern - Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm; Week 2: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Salary: From £40,000 per annum
Location: Clydebank

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of drives, PLCs, and HMIs looking for a new challenge? Then this could be the perfect role for you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business where you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you'll be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and installations across a range of equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults
  • Installing and servicing equipment as required
  • Undertaking facilities maintenance and repairs when needed
  • Liaising with subcontractors and machine manufacturers for support
  • Identifying and sourcing parts and materials for maintenance tasks
  • Supporting production efficiency through proactive engineering solutions
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in maintenance roles, ideally with knowledge of drives, PLCs, and HMIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • A team player with good communication skills for working across departments and with external suppliers
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of maintenance tasks
  • Previous experience with print machinery would be advantageous but not essential
