Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a Monday to Friday dayshift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Gillingham. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity with a competitive salary and the chance to work in a dynamic, high-energy environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production machinery and equipment.
  • Minimise downtime and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes through effective maintenance practices.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure all machinery is compliant with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the production team to support operational goals and resolve any technical issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with automated systems, PLCs, and machinery maintenance is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
