Overview

Maintenance Engineer – Location: Bolton – Salary: Competitive Salary & Benefits – Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 7:45am-11:30am – Contract: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance & repairs on CNC machinery, production equipment, and site facilities
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical & hydraulic issues to reduce downtime
• Leading preventative maintenance planning & execution
• Supporting equipment technology roadmaps to improve reliability
• Working with contractors for specialist repairs or upgrades
• Driving improvements using data & performance metrics

Experience / Qualifications

• Background in mechanical/electrical maintenance (qualifications preferred)
• Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
• Hands-on with CNC machines (Fanuc/Siemens control experience ideal)
• Familiarity with PLC boards & control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills across multiple technical areas
