A leading food manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join their expanding team. This role involves ensuring maximum efficiency of machinery and facilities, with a focus on preventative and reactive maintenance. Candidates must have a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, relevant experience in the food industry, and a full UK driving license.

Shifts: Day & night shift patternISQ Recruitment is supporting a family-owned food manufacturer with their search for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (mechanical bias). This company has a clear vision of quality food that's available to all. As the site continues to grow its customer base, they are now seeking to significantly add to their Engineering team.

This role is a mixture of 12-hour day & night shifts on a 3-weekly rotation. The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle.

* Please note this client does not offer VISA sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience to this role will be considered.

Key Deliverables

• Ensure that the facilities, layout, and machinery run to maximum efficiency.
• Preventative / reactive / proactive maintenance.
• All natures of electrical breakdowns.

Qualifications & Criteria

• Qualified Engineer in relevant discipline / nationally recognised qualification (minimum Level 3 required in Mechanical Engineering)
• Experienced in tig welding, lathes, and milling machines
• Extensive plant environment experience; food industry essential (meat industry would be advantageous)
• Must have full Right to Work in the UK
• Must have full UK driving license & access to own vehicle
