Job description

Are you a proactive and skilled engineer looking to make an impact in a dynamic production environment? We're seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer in the Driffield/Hull area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our machinery and services on site.

Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll handle preventative maintenance, respond to machinery breakdowns, and work closely with the management team to enhance production quality and efficiency. Your role will also involve supporting health, safety, and environmental standards while maintaining site security. Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely and effective maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks.
  • Ensure production equipment meets quality and safety standards.
  • Handle emergency situations, including fire and ammonia evacuations.
  • Maintain accurate records of shift activities and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with operators, management, and external experts to resolve issues.
What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical expertise in machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with MS Office and machine interfaces (HMI).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations.
