The Team is expanding and we are looking for two candidates.

Salary: £34,982 - £40,855 per annum

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The Technical Services within Estates Services is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Oxford University's diverse estate. Our skilled, multidisciplinary team keeps everything running - from historic listed buildings to pioneering new facilities like the Life and Mind Building, and the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, two landmark developments designed to shape the future of science, culture, and education on a global scale.

About the Role

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining systems, performing both planned and reactive maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues across our very large and diverse estate. You'll collaborate closely with the wider estates team and sustainability experts to enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

About You
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline.
  • Strong experience in maintaining mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, boilers, water systems).
  • Excellent fault-finding skills and knowledge of control systems (TREND 963).
  • Good Knowledge of British health and safety standards
  • A team player with great communication and customer service skills.
