Salary: £33,259.20 per annum

Our coffin manufacturing plant in Driffield is at the heart of this mission, producing precision-crafted coffins with care and attention to detail. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure our plant operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely, delivering exceptional quality every time.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like…

• Collaborate with management and other departments to uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance while contributing to the seamless production of our products.
• Play a crucial role in maintaining the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment that underpin our manufacturing operations which include, diagnostics, repairs, quality standards and training.
• Provide regular updates on maintenance schedules, progress, and challenges, facilitating effective decision-making.
• Conducted comprehensive inspections and executed maintenance routines to minimise risks.
• Strategically plan and execute maintenance activities to prevent operational downtime.
• Identify tasks requiring external expertise and coordinate subcontractor requirements effectively for timely resolution.
  
  
  

What We Are Looking For…

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
• NVQ L3 in Engineering or equivalent.
• IOSH certification.
• Any experience with biomass boilers is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to foster collaboration across departments and mentor team members effectively.
• Excellent time management, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
