Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme

Salary: GBP 46,000 per annum

Hours: 5:30am to 5:30pm and 5:30pm to 5:30am, covering a rotating schedule (2 days, 2 nights, 2 off, 3 nights, 2 off, 3 days, 2 off, 2 days, 2 nights, 8 off every 28 days)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join the onsite operations in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.

This role is suitable for Electrical, Maintenance, or Service Engineers.

The Role

• Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed as per the Computerised Maintenance System
• Document all activities in the system, including spares, time, and fault information
• Service, repair, and diagnose faults on all equipment
• Identify projects and improvements to enhance throughput, capacity, and reduce downtime
• Manage spares and replacement parts to minimize downtime
• Implement approved improvements
• Maintain good housekeeping in automated areas
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Skills and Qualifications

• ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification
• Electrical bias preferred
• Proven experience in engineering and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
