The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a leading manufacturing company based in the Eggborough area, near Doncaster.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery.
  • Monitor & supply engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.
  • Keeping and implementing plant wide PPM structures ensuring H&S, quality assurance as well as liaising with Engineering Stores.
  • Working within a small team and alongside contractors to diagnose breakdowns and mechanical faults across the plant.


Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or HNC and HND - Mechanical.
  • Time served Mechanical Engineer or Fitter.
  • Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
  • High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
