Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Elsham. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of our team of engineers responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment and systems at our site. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.

Our site has 14 blown film extrusion lines and several ancillary lines. The site runs 24/7 and our engineers are responsible for the site preventative maintenance and breakdowns on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate should have experience in all areas of engineering, with an electrical bias. You should be competent in carrying out breakdown repairs when they occur, using your initiative and knowledge to source alternative solutions to issues, minimizing production downtime.

The day to day duties will include reactive maintenance tasks, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and undertaking project work.

The working hours for this role are 7-7, on a 4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights shift pattern.

Ideal requirements of the candidate:

- Experienced in electrical controls, Inverter drives, PLC’s and motors

- Knowledge and experience of reading wiring diagrams

- Experience of machine fault diagnosis and repair on electrical/mechanical/fluid power systems

- Experience working on production/processing machinery.

Candidate must have:

- Qualified to Level 3 Electrical Engineering - City and Guilds or equivalent.

- Excellent fault finding skills.

- Excellent health and safety standards.

- Be able to work under pressure.

- Proven experience.

- Availability for overtime to cover others holidays.
