Job description

Maintenance Engineer
Lutterworth (Magna Park, Distribution Centre).
Monday to Friday 8 hour day shifts.
2 weeks of Mornings, 1 week of afternoons.
Salary: GBP46,738 p/a.
Benefits: 33 Days Holiday, 13% Pension, x1.5 Overtime, Sick pay.

Site & Role

40,000 sq/m Distribution Centre, working within a team of 4 Electrical Technicians are responsible for the maintenance of the site, from repairs to Vanderlande parcel sortation systems, through to the facilities and building maintenance.

Responsibilities:

70% planned preventative maintenance whilst on morning shifts, with 30% need for reactive/fault finding.

Regular PPM and breakdown cover for a Mid-size conveyor used for both totes and master cartons (Vanderlande system)
- Weekly testing of site sprinkler system
- Site wide lighting
- General upkeep and repairs on site plumbing
- Basic level control and fault finding of fire alarm system
- Adhoc project/installation work
- Bay Doors / Dock levellers
- General building maintenance

Entry Requirements

5 years experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased preferable).

Distribution Centre experience would be advantageous, transferable industry knowledge is considered.

City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 qualified in Electrical Maintenance or Installation.
