Job description

A globally operating manufacturing company not far from Buxton are seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team on a Monday to Friday Morning and Afternoon shift pattern.


This is a varied role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, and you will be involved in PPM work, projects, reactive breakdowns, both in production and facilities engineering.


Looking for good all-round engineers who can be either mechanically or electrically biased.

Responsibilities of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

  1. Planned and reactive maintenance working with team
  2. Modify and update PPM system on a daily basis to ensure engineering information is up to date and accurate
  3. Proactive service and support to production and factory services
  4. Identify spares requirements and maintain stock levels
  5. Maintain records for historical purposes of repairs

Skills & Experience Required

  1. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or academic and practical qualifications
  2. Ideally ONC / HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
  3. 2 years + maintenance experience
  4. Experience within maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
