Field Service Engineer - Electrical Bias
Location: Driffield, North Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 basic + benefits
Shifts: Straight Days (Monday to Friday)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in the Driffield area, looking to strengthen their engineering department with the addition of a skilled Field Service Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, growing business with a strong local reputation and modern production environment. You'll be working on a wide range of equipment in a varied and fast-paced role, with straight day shift pattern and competitive salary.

The role
  • Carry out both reactive and planned electrical maintenance across the site
  • Diagnose faults and ensure minimal downtime on production equipment
  • Work on a variety of electrical systems including motors, control panels, sensors, drives, and PLCs (basic fault finding)
  • Support installation and improvement projects
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers and production teams to maintain high performance standards
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and site procedures
About you
  • Time-served or qualified Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (FMCG/food/pharma experience beneficial)
  • Strong fault-finding skills and understanding of electrical systems, drives, and automation
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a wider team
  • Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high engineering standard
