DS Smith Packaging site in Devizes is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to work closely with engineering colleagues, operations, OEMs and vendors to improve asset reliability and plant performance.
The role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and adherence to health and safety, quality and cost policies; shifts are 4 on 4 off (2 x 12h day, 2 x 12h night), averaging 40.5 hours per week.
Our DS Smith Packaging site in Devizes is searching for a Maintenance Engineer. You will be working closely with your engineering colleagues, Operations, OEMs and vendors to develop and implement best practices and increase plant and asset reliability.
The role is hands on and fast paced, requiring you to carry out duties with respect to Preventative Maintenance schedules. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring any tasks carried out are completed to the best possible standard and in accordance with current regulations and company policy on health and safety, quality, hygiene, housekeeping delivery and cost.
The shifts will be 4 on and 4 off (2 x 12 hour day shifts followed by 2 x 12 hour night shifts). You will not be required to work Saturday nights and will work an average of 40.5 hours per week.
