Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: GBP43,000 GBP47,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Double Day Shifts Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

We are working on behalf of a global manufacturing business with a key production facility based in Corby. Due to continued growth and investment, they're looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established engineering team.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects and assist with machinery upgrades and installations.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently.
• Accurately complete maintenance logs and reports using internal systems.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and promote a safe working environment.

Key Skills & Experience

• Time-served engineer with relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and ideally basic PLC fault-finding.
• Ability to work efficiently on a rotating double day shift pattern (no weekends required).
• Strong problem-solving ability and a team-player mindset.
