Job summary

Enva Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team in Colwick. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with production to minimize downtime while implementing upgrades for better efficiency.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus experience with CMMS and reading technical drawings. A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering is expected, with certifications in maintenance

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the relevant industry.
• Certifications in maintenance or safety (e.g., IOSH, Six Sigma) are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Preventive Maintenance:
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures.
  • Conduct regular inspections, testing, and servicing of machinery and equipment.
• 2. Repairs and Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical issues and perform repairs.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure equipment is back in operation with minimal downtime.
• 3. Installation and Upgrades:
  • Install new equipment and systems as required.
  • Assist in equipment upgrades and recommend improvements for efficiency and performance.
• 4. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and adhere to workplace safety standards.
• 5. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Prepare detailed reports on equipment performance and downtime.
