Location: Leeds

Shifts: Earlies and Days (6am-2pm, 10am-6pm)

Salary: £52,300 plus Private Healthcare, Life Insurance and 6% Pension Contribution

The Company

I am currently recruiting for an electrically bias maintenance engineer for a company who are a systems integrator on a global scale across the world. They operate in numerous countries with plenty of tier one clients and are currently consistently growing across the UK over the past numerous years. On this new site in Leeds, since the site opened nearly 2 years ago there has been £75 million invested to keep up with the demand of the site over the last couple of years, there was a large expansion installing some new shuttle systems. With the latest automation and technology the site processes over 120,000 orders a day - the sites aim is to get the unit out of the warehouse 30, showing how state-of-the art and slick the process is. The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Reactive and PPM tasks, with various electrical and mechanical responsibilities.
  • Managing the CMMS system which is tablet-based with a desktop app if required.
  • Working with state-of-the-art automated machinery including conveyors, automated cranes, strappers, shuttle systems, box making machines and robotic systems.

  • Has very good communication skills face-to-face, over the radio and over email.
  • Has a recognised engineering qualification.
  • Will be joining a team with colleagues from various engineering backgrounds.
  • Will be able to perform in potential high pressure scenarios and work with their team in intense environments.
  • Is outgoing with the customer and understands proposed changes for the better of the company.
