Job description

We're recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and well-run food processing site in the Measham area. This is a Monday to Friday (days) role - perfect for engineers seeking a regular routine with no rotating shifts.

The base rate is £15.90/hr, with regular overtime and on-call earnings available, offering solid on-target earnings for those open to occasional weekend work.

Role Overview:

• Performing routine and reactive maintenance on food-processing equipment
• Supporting uptime across chillers, conveyors, washers, and pack lines
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
• Working closely with production to keep the lines running

What We're Looking For:

• Experience as a maintenance or service engineer in a manufacturing setting
• Engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
• Competent with electrical and mechanical fault-finding
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
